Prayer of Supplication

"Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for 3 years and 6 months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit."
~James 5:17-18

To pray a prayer of supplication means that one is seeking something, petitioning to God for something. Elijah sought after dry lands and the Lord supplied. Because of Elijah's passion and zeal for Christ, his prayers were answered-God wants us to seek Him and all the he can give to us.

Today, pray a prayer of supplication to God. Seek His glory and seek His face. Desire to know His will in your life.
